    Hello –

I would be very interested in volunteering with
    Freecycle.  I have previous management
experience and several years experience of volunteer management and
    development.  My knowledge of recycling
isn’t great but I do have experience of running events; the ability to write or
develop an action plan or business plan; a strong commitment to the development
    of local communities.

I live in Hackney and am currently on the board of a local
    development charity.

Please let me know if you think I could be helpful.

Hi guys, I notice your twitter account has gone a bit quiet since May (and was fairly sporadic before that)! I’d like to offer to take over the management of it if this is something you guys would be up for discussing. I am now a freelance carpenter but until recently worked as digital content manager and blogging coordinator at Medecins Sans Frontieres in London. I set up their twitter and other social media profiles from scratch (@msf_uk) and also managed their international blogging platform (http://blogs.msf.org). I have been an active freecycle user in hackney for six-odd years and love the group and the ethos.

I live round the corner from your office so can pop round for a chat if you are interested…

    Cheers

    Pete

Hi, I am interested in volunteering and helping develop the project and site. I certainly agree with Pete Masters’ comments below. There is a significant amount of potential here that I believe is unrealised. Please contact me so we could discuss further.
